Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs the use of Technis ("the Platform") and establishes standards for appropriate conduct. Violation of this Policy may result in account suspension or termination without prior notice.
2. Prohibited Activities
Users must not engage in the following activities:
2.1 Illegal Activities
- Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Storing, distributing, or accessing illegal content
- Facilitating criminal activity of any kind
2.2 Intellectual Property Violations
- Uploading or sharing content without proper authorization or licensing
- Infringing on copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights
- Circumventing digital rights management (DRM) or other protective measures
2.3 Security and System Integrity
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Platform systems, networks, or other user accounts
- Probing, scanning, or testing vulnerabilities without explicit authorization
- Interfering with or disrupting platform services, servers, or networks
- Uploading viruses, malware, ransomware, or other malicious code
- Conducting denial-of-service attacks or similar disruptive activities
2.4 Abuse and Harassment
- Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users
- Distributing content that is defamatory, obscene, or hateful
- Sharing private information of others without consent (doxxing)
2.5 Resource Abuse
- Consuming excessive storage, bandwidth, or computational resources
- Using the Platform for cryptocurrency mining without authorization
- Deploying automated systems that generate excessive load
- Hosting public-facing services for non-invited third parties
2.6 Commercial Use
- Using the Platform for commercial purposes without authorization
- Reselling or sublicensing Platform access to third parties
- Operating businesses or commercial services on the Platform
3. Permitted Personal Use
The Platform is intended for personal, non-commercial use by invited friends and family members. Acceptable uses include:
- Personal media streaming and storage
- Document management and file sharing among invited users
- Communication and collaboration tools
- Personal automation and productivity applications
- Educational and learning purposes
- Hobby projects and experimentation (within resource limits)
4. Content Standards
4.1 Legal Compliance
All content stored on the Platform must comply with applicable laws and regulations. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their content is lawful.
4.2 Respect for Others
While the Platform respects user privacy, content that is discovered to be harmful, harassing, or violates the rights of others may result in account action.
4.3 Backup Responsibility
Users are encouraged to maintain independent backups of important content. While the Platform maintains backup systems, users remain responsible for their own data preservation.
5. Monitoring and Enforcement
5.1 Privacy-First Approach
The Platform operator respects user privacy and does not routinely monitor user content. However, automated systems monitor for security threats, excessive resource usage, and technical issues.
5.2 Investigation Rights
The Platform operator reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this Policy, including examination of user content when necessary to ensure Platform security and compliance.
5.3 Enforcement Actions
Violations may result in:
- Warning and required corrective action
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Removal of violating content
- Legal action when warranted
6. Reporting Violations
Users who become aware of Policy violations should report them to the Platform operator through designated support channels. Reports will be handled confidentially and investigated promptly.

This Policy may be updated periodically to address new concerns or changes in Platform capabilities. Users will be notified of material changes, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
